Artist, Educator and Researcher

Benjamin Green is a creative practitioner, researcher and educator. His work is concerned with the relationships between people, place and the socio-political, and exists at the intersection between social documentary and experimental moving image practice. Over recent years, his practice has become primarily focussed on analogue still and moving image, working predominantly with 16mm moving image and medium format still image, with a particular interest in alternative processes.
He is a Senior Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Filmmaking programme at SODA, Manchester School of Art, where he is completing a PhD by Practice.
