Documentary Image Maker and Researcher
Benjamin Green (b.1995, Derby, UK) is a creative practitioner, researcher and writer, specialising in moving image and experimental documentary practice. His work is concerned with exploring the relationships between people, politics and place, with a focus the marginalisation of post-industrial and rural communities and the on-going ecological, topographic and aesthetic impact humans have on the land.
Benjamin studied for a BA (Hons) in Filmmaking and an MA in Visual Culture at Manchester School of Art, where he is currently undertaking a part-time PhD by practice in the School of Digital Arts. His doctoral research explores the ways in which new approaches concerning collaboration within documentary practice can be used to engage with localised socio-political issues.
